Our Supply Chain
From the Highlands to Your Hands
At UTKU, we believe transparency is part of craftsmanship. Every step of our supply chain is rooted in direct, long-term relationships — no middlemen, no compromises.
Where It Begins
Our natural fibres — baby alpaca, crinkle cotton, and sheep wool — are sourced directly from trusted suppliers across Ecuador and the Andean highlands. We prioritize certified, ethically raised and harvested materials that meet our standards for quality and sustainability.
Made in Ecuador
From raw fibre to finished garment, everything is produced in Ecuador. Our family workshop has been crafting for international markets for over fifty years. We oversee every stage of production in-house, ensuring consistent quality and fair working conditions for every person involved.
Small-Batch Production
We produce in small, intentional batches — never mass-produced, never wasteful. This allows us to maintain quality control and reduce excess inventory.
Fair Trade Verified
We are committed to fair wages, safe working conditions, and building a supply chain that gives back to the communities that make UTKU possible.
